Further to the announcement made on 14 October 2014, 3 July 2015 ,11 October 2016 and 25 October 2018 pertaining to the issuance of Writ of Summons together with Statement of Claims to Bipinchadra A/L Balvantrai, Jayesh R. Kamdar Rajnikant and Yap Kim Hong (“the Defendants”).
The Board of Directors of Kamdar Group (M) Berhad (“KGMB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company had filed an application to the Federal Court for leave to appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal on 24 October 2018 (in dismissing the Company's appeal against the decision of the High Court in dismissing the Company's claim against the 3 Respondents).
The application was heard on 25 March 2019 and was dismissed by the Federal Court with costs of RM30,000.00 awarded to the 3 Respondents (RM10,000.00) each.
