We refer to Bursa Securities letter dated 31 October 2019, below is our reply to the questions raised;
Q1: The date on which the Official Receiver was appointed Answer – The Official Receiver / Interim Liquidator was appointed on 15.10.2019.
Q2: The Status of the Board of Directors of Sumatec after the Winding-Up Order and the appointment of the Official Receiver Answer – The Board of Directors have lost control of the Company and the Official Receiver has been appointed. However, as far as we have been informed the Official Receiver has not yet received the Winding-Up Order.
Q3: Status of the application to proceed with the hearing of the Notice of Motion of Stay of the winding-up order. Answer – The Notice of Motion of Stay has been fixed for case management on 22.11.2019. The Company’s solicitors will make the necessary application for the sanction to the Official Receiver in order to proceed with the hearing of the Notice of Motion.
