Reference is made to the Company's announcements on 2 July 2019 and 22 July 2019 pertaining to the fire incident occurred at one of its chipboard manufacturing plant in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that the insurer, Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad had made a payment of RM4,423,534.53 on 1 November 2019 to MIECO’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Mieco Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (“MMSB”), being the full and final settlement of the claim for Material Damage.
A further announcement will be made once the Business Interruption Claim has been finalised.
