As announced previously on 2 April 2018, both Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun have filed their application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal dated 29 January 2018 (“leave application”). The said application for leave has been dismissed by the Federal Court on 25 March 2019.
The legal proceeding against Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun in Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014 is fixed for continued trial on 18 to 29 November 2019.
The Company also wishes to announce that Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun had on 20 September 2019 filed an application to strike out the Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014. The said application is yet to be fixed for hearing. |
