The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcement in relation to the Offer.

We refer to the announcement dated 23 September 2019 in relation to the Offer.

In accordance with Rule 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions, the Board wishes to announce that Inter-Pacific Securities Sdn Bhd has been appointed to act as the Independent Adviser of KCB to advise the non-interested Directors and the holders of the Offer Securities in respect of the fairness and reasonableness of the Offer, and its appointment is subject to the clearance of eligibility of the Independent Adviser by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
