Rohas Tecnic Berhad (“RTB” or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, HG Power Transmission Sdn Bhd (“HGPT”), had on 18 February 2020 accepted the award by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd of the following contracts (“Contracts”):-

1. Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 230 kilowatt(“kV”)  and 132 kV Transmission Lines on Turnkey Basis, of value Euro 15.1 million + BDT 1.19 billion (total 

    approximately RM126 million) and tenure 30 months; and

2. Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 132 kV Transmission Lines on Turnkey Basis, of value Euro 6.9 million + BDT 718.4 million (total approximately RM66

    million) and tenure 24 months.

Both Contracts are funded by German state-owned development bank KfW Entwicklungsbank and were secured in open international tenders, showcasing HGPT’s impressive track record and rising reputation in the region.

The estimated commencement date for the contracts will be in the second half of 2020.

The Contracts are expected to have a positive impact on RTB Group’s results for the year ending 31 December 2020 and in the future.

None of the directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with them have any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the Contracts.
