We refer to the announcements dated 26 November 2019, 5 December 2019, 12 December 2019, 13 January 2020, 30 January 2020 and 24 February 2020 (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements.
On behalf of the Board, CIMB wishes to announce that KLK had, on 24 February 2020, issued and allotted 13,513,093 new KLK shares pursuant to the DRP for the Final Dividend. The new KLK shares issued represent approximately 82.13% of the total number of 16,453,889 new KLK shares that would have been issued pursuant to the DRP should all the entitled shareholders of KLK have elected to reinvest the electable portion of their Final Dividend into new KLK shares.
The new KLK shares have been listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m., Tuesday, 25 February 2020.
With the listing of the new KLK shares pursuant to the DRP, the total enlarged number of issued KLK shares is 1,081,017,785 KLK shares (including 2,539,000 treasury shares).
