The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Versatile Creative Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company’s unaudited quarterly report on consolidated results for the financial period ended 31 March 2020 (“4th Quarter Report”) and Annual Report could not be finalised in time for issuance within the stipulated deadlines of 31 May 2020 and 31 July 2020 respectively due to the extended Movement Control Order (“MCO”).

The MCO had caused operational difficulties to the external auditors in carrying out the stock take exercise and as a result, the closing of stock and inventory for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 was delayed, which further delayed the completion of their audit work.

In view of the challenges faced by the Company and its subsidiaries during the current situation, the Company’s 4th Quarter Report and Annual Report will be issued by 30 June 2020 and 31 August 2020 respectively, being the extended timelines granted by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in their letters dated 16 April 2020 and 6 May 2020.
