The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of Unimech Group Bhd. (“the Company”) would like to announce that following the Movement Control Order ("MCO") imposed by the Government of Malaysia effective from 18 March 2020 to 12 May 2020 and the Conditional MCO until 9 June 2020 under the provision of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967 to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection in Malaysia, the preparation and finalisation of the Quarterly Report (“QR”) for the period ended 31 March 2020 of the Company was affected and delay. Therefore, the QR for 31 March 2010 is anticipated to be released latest by 30 June 2020 which is within the timeframe granted by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

Further, the Board wishes to inform that the Company will make application to Companies Commission of Malaysia to delay to hold its 23rd Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company pursuant to Section 340(4) of the Companies Act 2016.

The Board will determine and announce the appropriate date to hold its forthcoming AGM in due course.
