He had also previously served as the Group Managing Director and CEO of Vastalux Energy Berhad and Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Avillion Berhad. He is currently the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of UMS-Neiken Group Berhad, Independent Non-Executive Director of Rohas Tecnic Berhad and Independent Non-Executive Director of Scomi Group Bhd. He had also previously sat on the boards of DWL Resources Berhad, Avillion Berhad, Admiral Marina Berhad and Vastalux Energy Berhad. |

Reference is made to SESB's announcement dated 18 May 2020 in relation to the appointment of En. Amirul Azhar bin Baharom ("En. Amirul") as Interim Chief Executive Officer ("Interim CEO") of SESB with effect from 5 August 2020 ("Appointment as Interim CEO").
Following the change of the effective date of the resignation of En. Hilmy Zaini bin Zainal as Chief Executive Officer of SESB from 4 August 2020 to 30 June 2020 which has been announced by SESB on 25 June 2020, the Board of Directors of SESB has decided to rescind En. Amirul's Appointment as Interim CEO of SESB and have appointed him as Chief Executive Officer of SESB with effect from 1 July 2020. |
