Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 19 August 2019 and subsequent announcements, the circular to shareholders dated 29 October 2019 in relation to the SCR and the notice to shareholders in relation to the suspension of trading of the ordinary shares in Mintye and the entitlement date for the SCR dated 17 June 2020 (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements. On behalf of the Board, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that an office copy of the Order dated 10 June 2020 has been lodged with the Registrar of Companies on 29 June 2020. Accordingly, the resolution for the SCR as confirmed by the Order will take effect on 29 June 2020 pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act. The settlement of the SCR Offer Price to the Entitled Shareholders will be effected on 9 July 2020. This announcement is dated 29 June 2020. |
