| Working experience and occupation | Y.A.M. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Syed Zainol Anwar Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail ("Y.A.M. Tan Sri") commenced his career with Malaysian Airlines Systems Berhad in 1975 as a Financial Accountant, before moving on to hold senior positions in various companies.
Y.A.M. Tan Sri's last executive position was as the Group Managing Director of Amanah Capital Partners Berhad. In addition to being the former Chairman of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, Y.A.M.Tan Sri was also the former Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Haji's Investment Panel, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Malakoff Corporation Berhad, Pulau Indah Ventures Sdn Bhd, Media Prima Berhad, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad, DRB-Hicom Berhad, EON Bank Berhad, Uni Asia Life Assurance Berhad and Uni Asia General Insurance Berhad. He was also the former Executive Chairman of Realmild (M) Sdn Bhd and Radicare (M) Sdn Bhd. Y.A.M. Tan Sri also served as an Independent Director of Maxis Communications Berhad and Bangkok Bank Berhad.
Currently, Y.A.M. Tan Sri is the Chairman of Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad and the Chairman of its Nomination and Compensation Committee and a member of its Audit Committee. He is also the Chairman of S P Setia Berhad and Chairman of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as well as the Chairman of Lembaga Zakat Selangor and the Chancellor of SEGi University. |
