The Board of Directors (“Board”) of L&G  wishes to announce that L&G intends to seek the approval of its shareholders for the authority for L&G to purchase its own shares of up to 10% of L&G’s prevailing issued ordinary share capital at any time (“Proposed Share Buy-Back”) at the annual general meeting to be convened.

The Proposed Share Buy-Back would provide L&G with an option to purchase its own shares at a future date when L&G’s Board deems appropriate after taking into account the availability of funds, business considerations, relevant cost factors, and market conditions and sentiment.

A Share Buy-Back statement containing the details of the Proposed Share Buy-Back will be despatched to the shareholders of L&G in due course.
