The Board of Directors of PIE wishes to announce that Messrs Grant Thornton ("Grant Thornton") had on 13 July 2020, given a notice in writing to the Board of Directors of their resignation as auditors of the Company.

Pursuant to Section 281 (2) of the Companies Act 2016, their term of office as auditors of the Company shall come to an end on 2 August 2020.

Upon enquiry with the audit partner, Grant Thornton had confirmed that, as far as they were aware, there were no issues relating to any operational and audit matters. 

The Board of Directors wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters relevant to the resignation of Grant Thornton as auditors that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of PIE.

Further announcement on the proposed change of auditors will be made by the Company in due course once the Company has identified a replacement auditor.
