The Board of Directors ("Board") of BLD Plantation Bhd. ("BLDP") wishes to announce that the Board has on 10 August 2020 proposed to seek shareholder mandate for the renewal of and new RRPT by way of an ordinary resolution at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of BLDP. A Circular to Shareholders seeking for shareholders' approval on the Proposed Shareholder Mandate is currently being prepared and will be despatched to the shareholders at a later date. The existing shareholder mandate was obtained at the 17th AGM of BLDP held on 29 August 2019. In accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the existing shareholder mandate shall lapse at the conclusion of the 18th AGM, unless renewal is obtained. This announcement is dated 10 August 2020. |
