Reference is made to the circular to shareholders of Adventa in relation to the disposal of 100% equity interest in E-Beam Sdn. Bhd. (“E-Beam Disposal”) dated 3 July 2019 (“Circular”). Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as those previously defined in the Circular.

In view of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for healthcare products in particular hospital supplies and personal protection equipment has increased significantly.  In this relation, Adventa wishes to announce that the Company intends to vary RM16.31 million, representing approximately 21.75% of the total Consideration to be utilised on the working capital for the healthcare distribution business of Adventa Group.
