The Board of Directors of Gabungan AQRS Berhad (“the Company” or “1st Plaintiff”) wishes to announce that pursuant to an investigation conducted by a legal firm commissioned by the Board, the 1st Plaintiff and Trusvest Sdn Bhd (“2nd Plaintiff”), a subsidiary of the Company (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Plaintiffs”) had on 15 September 2020 filed a Writ of Summons with a Civil Suit No. ​BA-22NCvC-342-09/2020 at the High Court of Malaya at Shah Alam against Mr Bernard Lim Soon Chiang (“the Defendant”), the former Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer.

The Defendant has in breach of his duty of care, negligent, employment contract and fiduciary duties, caused loss and damage to the Plaintiffs amounting to RM13,245,173.

The Company will make further announcement on the above matter as and when there is development.
