1.   INTRODUCTION
Country View Berhad ("CVB" or the "Company") wishes to announce that the following wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company, had on 18 November 2020 submitted applications to the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") for striking off pursuant to Section 550 of the Companies Act. 2016. ("Striking Off Applications"):

3.  RATIONAL FOR THE STRIKING OFF APPLICATIONS
The abovementioned wholly owned subsidiaries are dormant and inactive and there is no intention to carry on their business or operations in the future. The Striking Off Applications will reduce administrative expenses and costs.

4. APPROVAL REQUIRED
The Striking Off Applications is not subject to the approval of shareholders of CVB. However, the Striking Off Applications are subject to the approval of CCM.

5. FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE STRIKING OFF APPLICATIONS
The Striking Off Applications will not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets per share of CVB for the financial year ending 30 November 2020.

6. INTEREST OF DIRECTORS, MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND/OR PERSONS CONNECTED TO THEM
None of the Directors and/or Major Shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Striking Off Applications
