The Board of Directors of PCB (“Board”) wishes to inform that the Company had on 1 December 2020 received a notice dated 1 December 2020 from Grant Thornton on their resignation as auditors of the Company pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act 2016 (the "Act"). The resignation is due to the merger of Grant Thornton with Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT to streamline their national audit practice in Malaysia under the Grant Thornton brand name. The Board has accepted the resignation of Grant Thornton with effect from 1 December 2020. On 1 December 2020, pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Act, the Board has appointed Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT as auditors of the Company to fill the vacancy in the office of the auditors arising from the resignation of Grant Thornton. This announcement is dated 1 December 2020.
