We refer to the announcement dated 21 October 2020 made by MTD ACPI in respect of the above matter.
For consistency, the abbreviations used hereinafter throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the preceding announcement unless stated otherwise.
MTD ACPI wishes to announce that the above matter came up for Case Management on 1 December 2020 and its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACPM, has been informed by its solicitors that the solicitors for LEKL, Messrs. Kelvin Wong, Phang & Associates has served a sealed Notice of Discontinuance dated 30 November 2020 to discontinue the action against ACPM in the Shah Alam Sessions Court with the liberty to file afresh and no order as to costs.
In view of the foregoing, there is no material financial impact on the Company.
