Further to the announcement dated 4 November 2020, the Company wishes to announce that Bursa Securities has via its letter dated 3 December 2020 received by the Company on 4 December 2020 approved UEM Sunrise’s application for acceptance of a lower public shareholding spread of 24.12% in compliance with Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Approved Public Spread”).

Pursuant to the Approved Public Spread, the Company is required to notify Bursa Securities immediately, if in conjunction with the preparation of its semi-annual returns and/or where it becomes aware of the following:

a. any decrease to the Company’s issued share capital;

b. any decrease in the percentage of public shareholding spread below 24.12%; and

c. any decrease of the Company’s average market capitalisation for the preceding 12 months to below RM1 billion at any point in time.
