In continuation of Minho’s drive to eradicate the spreadability of Covid-19 within its premises, the management wishes to inform that on the 26th Dec 2020, its subsidiary, Syarikat Minho Kilning Sdn. Bhd. (SMKSB) recently conducted the mass screening exercise. 3 local workers were diagnosed Covid-19 positive and currently undergoing strict home quarantine. 2 foreign workers were also diagnosed Covid-19 positive and currently isolated at the designated quarantine centre. The management awaits further directives from KKM.

The screening was done on 394 persons comprising mainly local and foreign workers. Also included in the said screening were Quality Controllers (QCs), Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Site Staffs, Supervisors and Tenants. Immediate sanitisation has been carried out internally. Close contact tracing has also been carried out and advised in accordance to strict Covid-19 SOP.

The management wishes to add that all divisions have been advised to enforce strict physical distancing, sanitisation measures on all common areas, daily temperature screening effort and the compulsory mask-on ruling. 

As a result of this slight disruption, the capacity loss is still estimated to be no more than 1% of the total annual output volume. Other production facilities at different locations remained operating as per normal. Notwithstanding the above, Minho’s operation continues to be carried out in strict adherence to Covid-19 SOP.
