Reference is made to the announcements dated 5 October 2020, 15 October 2020, 28 October 2020 and 1 December 2020 (“Announcements”) in relation to the Proposed Merger.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of UEMS (“Board”), AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Board, after deliberation, had indicated that there are merits to further engage Eco World to ascertain and validate the potential value of the Proposed Merger and agreed to further explore, discuss, negotiate and conduct the necessary due diligence.
Notwithstanding the above, kindly note that the corporate exercise is still in its preliminary stage and is subject to the Company’s assessment on the viability and feasibility of the Proposed Merger.
In view of the above, shareholders and potential investors of the Company are urged to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Company.
The Company will make the requisite monthly announcement(s) on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for any material updates and/or developments in relation to the Proposed Merger.
