Working experience and occupation	Mr Tan is currently the Honorary Chairman of Persatuan Promosi Perubatan Tradisional Cina Pulau Pinang and actively involves in quarry sector since 1981. He is a veteran in the construction and property industry having considerable experience working as Project Manager managing various types of real estate developments, such as hotels, factories and infrastructures.
