Pursuant to Part C of Chapter 9, Paragraph 9.04 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, we wish to announce that Mulpha Australia (Holdings) Pty Ltd (“MAH”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mulpha Australia Limited, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MIB, has accepted a syndicated credit facility of AUD342 million (equivalent to approximately RM1.07 billion based on today’s exchange rate of AUD1.00 : RM3.13) from Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited, both located in Australia.  

The purpose of the syndicated credit facility is to finance the refurbishment works at InterContinental Sydney Hotel and to refinance the existing borrowings. 

MAH is a company incorporated in Australia and its paid-up share capital is AUD100.00 comprising 100 ordinary shares of AUD1.00 each. The principal activity of MAH is investment holding.
