Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 15 January 2019.
The Board of Directors of AEON Credit is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (“the Ministry”) has vide its letter dated 23 November 2020 approved the Company’s application for the renewal of Money Lending Licence (the “Licence”) under the Moneylenders Act 1951 [Act 400].
The Licence shall be valid for a period of two (2) years effective 15 January 2021 to 14 January 2023 and is subject to renewal with the Ministry. The renewal will continue until such a time the Company decides.
