We refer to the Offer Document dated 28 December 2020, which sets out the details of the Offer.

On behalf of the Offeror, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that based on the level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 14 January 2021, the Offeror and the PACs hold 147,624,954 ordinary shares in CCM (“Shares”), representing about 88.03% of the total issued Shares.

Further, on behalf of the Offeror, we wish to announce that the Closing Date has been extended from 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Monday, 18 January 2021 to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Tuesday, 2 February 2021 (“Extended Closing Date”). The Extended Closing Date is to allow more time for the holders of the Offer Shares (“Holders”) to accept the Offer in view of the various forms of movement control orders imposed by the Government of Malaysia that are currently in place in Malaysia. A notice of the said extension will be posted to the Holders accordingly.

Save for the Extended Closing Date, all other details and terms and conditions of the Offer as set out in the Offer Document remain unchanged.
