The Board of Directors of Jaycorp Berhad ("Jaycorp" or "The Company") wishes to announce that, on 2 March 2021 Honsoar Jaycorp Cabinetry Sdn Bhd ("HJCSB"), a 60% Joint Venture of Jaycorp, had conducted a COVID Antigen Test on its entire workforce. The screening exercise which covered approximately 137 employees at Kawasan Perindustrian Sri Gading, Batu Pahat, Johor Darul Takzim, revealed that 28 employees were tested positive for Covid-19.

This is the 2nd time the company has conducted an RTK-Antigen Test for its entire workforce. Those that tested positive have been quarantined in the premises approved by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) officials.

The Management has voluntarily decided to halt operations at HJCSB for a period of 10 days for sanitisation purposes.

The Management does not expect any material impact to its financial performance.
