We refer to our previous announcements in relation to the Offer. The Board of Directors (“Board”) of TCSB wishes to announce that the Board has today received the attached press notice from HLIB, on behalf of the Offeror, informing that the Offeror has today, despatched to the holders of the Offer Shares who have not accepted the Offer (“Dissenting Shareholders”) (whose names appear on TSCB’s register of members as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysia time) on Tuesday, 7 February 2017), the Notice in pursuance of Section 222 of the CMSA stating the Offeror desires to compulsorily acquire the remaining Offer Shares held by the Dissenting Shareholders. The statutory declaration by the Offeror stating that the conditions for the despatch of the Notice have been satisfied were also despatched together with the Notice. Please refer to the attached press notice and the Notice for further details. This announcement is dated 8 February 2017. |
