The following is a further update on material litigation on Impiana Pangkor Sdn Bhd (“Impiana Pangkor”) as reported in the Company’s quarterly report on consolidated results for the financial period ended 31 March 2019 and as announced on 2 May 2019 and 19 June 2019.
On the hearing date 10 July 2019 to hear the respective parties’ counsels’ submission on Impiana Pangkor’s application for dismissal of the 1st and 2nd Defendant’s counterclaim for RM884,341.50, the Court has ruled in favour of Impiana Pangkor and dismissed the 1st and 2nd Defendant’s counterclaim with cost of RM1,000.00 and further ordered costs of RM1,000.00 in Impiana Pangkor’s favour in respect of the Court’s Order dated 1 April 2019.
