Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein has the same meaning as those defined in the announcements made on 25 January 2019, 11 February 2019, 1 March 2019, 11 March 2019, 5 April 2019, 30 April 2019, 3 May 2019, 27 May 2019 and the circular to shareholders dated 8 April 2019 in relation to the Proposed SCR.
On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the High Court had on 10 June 2019 granted an order confirming the reduction of share capital of the Company pursuant to Section 116 of the Act to give effect to the Proposed SCR (“High Court Order”).
Following the above, the Company will proceed to extract the High Court Order and lodge a copy of the High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies. The Proposed SCR will take effect upon the lodgement of a copy of the High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act.
Accordingly, the entitlement date in respect of the SCR will be announced in due course.
