The Board of Directors of Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (hereinafter referred to as “CCMB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that CCM Chemicals Sdn Bhd (hereinafter referred to as “CCMC”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had, on 29 November 2019 awarded a contract to Sime Darby Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd (“SDES”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad ("SDB") to engineer, procure, construct and commission one unit of Co-generation (“COGEN”) plant (collectively referred to as “COGEN project”) at a contract price of RM27.9 million (Ringgit Malaysia : Twenty Seven Million and Nine Hundred Thousand) at CCMC’s Pasir Gudang chlor alkali plant in Johor (hereinafter referred to as “Pasir Gudang Works” or “PGW”).
