company value has gone up by 20b. so what if they make 400m this year. does this justify an increase in 20b in value. you will need 50years of yearly earnings of 400m to justify that value increment.

Duke,I agree with you. PE ratio means how many years it requires to get back investment value from earning.Only if supermx can earn every year average 1b in next 20years, then supermx is worth 20b market value.
Duke you can try to calculate yourself if you want take 400m x 4 (assume the trend will continue to march next year) then divide by 1360 and times with 25 PE (since I assume there is no improvement in the next few quarters I will give a higher PE for this company), then you will get tp of around rm30, and bear in mind my assumption is no improvement in the next few quarters, what if there is huge improvement due to higher and higher asp in the next few quarters?
based on what assumption? covid 19 is going to stay with us for next 10 years? and assuming nobody is doing anything about it. and we are all sitting ducks?

Duke ya i know whats ur concern that the stock is over price, but honestly from the stock price is overshoot there are no more relationship between stock price and its sales or value. The only thing can affect the stock price is vaccine. When vaccine is out, then glove stock game over. Easy as that.
