Amanahraya Trustees Bhd, the trustee of Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), has trimmed its stake in property developer S P Setia Bhd after converting some of the redeemable convertible preference shares it holds into ordinary shares.
According to a bourse filing on Friday, Amanahraya Trustees sold 100 million shares representing 2.18% in S P Setia from ASB’s portfolio on April 8. The disposal cut the fund’s stake in the property developer to 22.37% or 1.03 billion shares, from 24.54% as on April 5.
