KUALA LUMPUR (March 27): GFM Services Bhd's maintenance management services contract with the Social Security Organisation (Socso) Rehabilitation Centre in Malacca will be extended for one year, effective June 15.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the integrated facilities manager said its subsidiary Global Facilities Management Sdn Bhd accepted the offer of extension today.

The contract extension sum is RM6.21 million, said GFM, adding that the extension is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets per share for the year ending Dec 31, 2017.

GFM shares closed up half a sen to settle at 63 sen for a market capitalisation of RM269.7 million.
