Boost to MHC Plantations’ bottom line
PETALING JAYA: MHC Plantations Bhd’s bottom line for the second quarter ended June 30 more than doubled to RM4.47mil, as the group’s overall revenue increased significantly.
A year earlier, the company’s net profit for the quarter stood at RM1.94mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the plantation player announced that its top line for the quarter rose by 30% year-on-year to RM96.29mil.
“The increase in revenue was mainly due to an increase in oil palm-related sales volume, higher fresh fruit bunch (FFB) production, a higher milling margin and kernel rate.
