Appeton maker Kotra net profit almost triple in Q4

PETALING JAYA: Kotra Industries Bhd 
, the maker of Appeton health products, posted a net profit of RM5.6mil in the last quarter ended June 30 on favourable currency exchange rate and improved cost control.
This lifted its full year earnings to RM15.7mil compared with RM12.4mil made a year ago, the company said in a filing on Tuesday.
Full year revenue increased 7.3% to RM178mil due to higher tender supply and aggressive promotional efforts.
