KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 18): Undergarments manufacturer Caely Holdings Bhd has appointed Dr Khoo Yek San as executive director of the company.

In a filing with the exchange today, Caely said Khoo was the pioneer key person involved in Plenitude Holdings Sdn Bhd's business expansion starting from the acquisition of land. She was Plenitude's group financial controller and chief operating officer at one point.

"Under her lead the property company eventually was listed in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia in year 2003," it added.

It added that Khoo was also the managing director for Salient Reality Sdn Bhd, which was one of the consultants involved in the master planning of Iskandar Malaysia and had assisted Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd in the roadmap towards its proposed public listing on Bursa Malaysia.

She is currently the shareholder and managing director of SV Group, which is a group of companies comprising Streamsville Sdn Bhd, Pembangunan Rasa Sempurna Sdn Bhd and Palmingdale Sdn Bhd. SV Group is currently developing several projects in Butterworth, Penang.

Caely shares closed unchanged at RM1.11 today, for a market capitalisation of RM89 million.
