KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): Tomei Consolidated Bhd has decided to sell off its skin care and cosmetic products distribution business to focus on its principal activities in the gold and jewellery trade.

The group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Flawless Skin Care Sdn Bhd is disposing of the “The history of Whoo” and “belif” skin care and cosmetics business as a going concern for RM8.97 million.

The purchaser is LG Household and Health Care Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which deals in skin care and cosmetic products, Tomei said in a stock exchange filing today.

Tomei’s share closed down 0.35 sen or 6.48% to 50.5 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM 74.8 million.
