TRADING in shares of Imaspro Corp Bhd (fundamental: 1.90/3. valuation 0.80/3), triggered our momentum algorithm yesterday for the first time this year.

The stock closed eight sen or 3.52% lower at RM2.19, giving it a market capitalisation of RM175.2 million, after 2.15 million shares were traded. In contrast, the stock’s average trading volume seen in the past 200 days were 249,995 shares.

Interestingly, YNH Property chairman Datuk Dr Yu Kuan Chon has been steadily upping his stake in Imaspro in recent months. He now controls a 23.07% stake in the company, compared with 15.28% as at Sept 28.

Imaspro manufactures agricultural chemicals. It produces pesticides and plant micronutrients, and distributes other agrochemicals.
