Advance Synergy up 4.54% on plans to buy London hotel
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 24): Shares in Kuching-based Advance Synergy Bhd rose 4.54% at mid-morning today after the group said it is buying Beaver Hotel in London, UK, for £10.25 million (RM55.63 million), which it expects will be able to provide a steady revenue income.
At 10.34am, Advance Synergy rose 0.5 sen to 11.5 sen with 28,000 shares traded.
It said the acquisition is also in line with its intention to have a greater presence in Europe and to further enhance its hospitality operations in major cities around the world.
