AWC accepts contract for RM29.87m job from Lendlease

KUALA LUMPUR: AWC Bhd, through wholly-owned subsidiary Qudotech Sdn Bhd, has been appointed by Lendlease Projects (M) Sdn Bhd (LLPM) as a trade contractor that will lead to works totalling RM29.87mil.  

Qudotech had accepted a letter of intent (LOI) to provide preliminary works for trade package No. TP24 - Hydraulics Services, at a preliminary works agreement (PWA) sum of RM500,000, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

   
On execution of the trade contract, the sum for the entire works will be RM29.87mil.  

“For the purposes of the PWA, the work commences immediately and shall expire no later than April 22, 2019, while works under the trade contract is to be completed by June 21, 2021,” it said.

Among other things, the works would involve a proposed commercial mixed development comprising of four levels of shopping complex, three levels of car park and one level of open landscape with retail space.  

It said the PWA and trade contract were expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group over the duration of the works. - Bernama
