Progressive Impact active, jumps 15.38% on bagging job from Chevron
KUALA LUMPUR (March 22): Shares in Progressive Impact Corp Bhd (PiCorp) jumped 15.38% in active trade after it bagged a 109.22 billion rupiah (RM31.35 million) contract from Chevron Corp to undertake environmental sampling and laboratory analysis for its Sumatera operation in Indonesia.
At 9.09am, PiCorp rose 2 sen to 15 sen with 2.98 million shares done.
It said the award is a continuity of the existing business that its subsidiary PT ALS Indonesia has with Chevron. Additionally, the contract serves as a business expansion in a foreign market, that is, Indonesia, it added.
