KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): Vizione Holdings Bhd today announced that it has appointed Datuk Mohd Zaihan Mohd Zain as its independent non-executive chairman, after the position was left vacant since April 11 following the departure of Datuk Dr Raman Ismail.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia this evening, Vizione said Zaihan has vast experience in infrastructure, building construction, property development, oil & gas, power, water and aviation.

He was formerly the senior vice president for Ranhill Bhd where he was tasked with seeking and strategising new business opportunities while expanding the earning base of the company.

Prior to that, Zaihan was the managing director of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Minister of Finance Inc.

Shares of Vizione closed unchanged today at RM1 with a market capitalisation of RM562.29 million.
