Tan Aik Kiong takes helm at Innoprise Plantations from brother

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): TSH Resources Bhd group executive director Tan Aik Kiong has taken over the helm at Innoprise Plantations Bhd, replacing his brother Datuk Kelvin Tan Aik Pen, who has resigned to have more time to pursue personal interest.

Aik Kiong, 56, has been the alternate director to Aik Pen since Dec 16, 2014. He worked with Prudential Bache Ltd, a brokerage and commission house, in 1986, and subsequently with Ameroid Services Pte Ltd, an independent warehousing company in Singapore.

According to Innoprise Plantations' Annual Report 2018, Aik Pen, 62, was appointed to the board of directors of Innoprise Plantations on Dec 7, 2006. He is also the chairman of TSH Resources.

TSH Resources is a major shareholder in Innoprise Plantations, with a 21.94% stake as at March 29, 2019.

In separate bourse filings today, Innoprise Plantations also announced the appointment of Lim Ted Hing as an independent and non-executive director, as well as the resignation of Lim Fook Hin as executive director of the company, citing to have more time to pursue personal interest as reason.

On May 22, Datu Rafee Datu Makling was appointed as non-executive chairman, replacing Datuk Majin Ajing who retired.

Innoprise Plantations' shares closed down 2 sen or 2.9% at 67 sen today, with 36,900 shares done, bringing a market capitalisation of RM320.83 million.
