KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 4): A total of 41.19 million WZ Satu Bhd shares were traded off-market today, representing an 8.05% stake in the company, Bloomberg data showed.

The shares crossed in two blocks — one block of 30.19 million shares and another block of 11 million shares — at RM9.06 million in total or 22 sen per share, one sen above its closing price for the day.

The parties involved in the exchange were not disclosed.

Pahang royalty Tengku Datuk Seri Uzir Tengku Ubaidillah is the largest shareholder of WZ Satu with a 17.79% stake, followed by TAS Industries Sdn Bhd with a 9.07% stake.

Meanwhile, Urusharta Jamaah Sdn Bhd — a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance that was tasked to take over the non-performing assets held by Lembaga Tabung Haji — is the third largest shareholder of the company with an 8.5% stake.

WZ Satu shares rose one sen or 5% to 21 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM107.45 million.
