KUALA LUMPUR: Gelombang Global Sdn Bhd has retracted a notice filed with the stock exchange on Monday regarding the ownership of a substantial number of shares in Scomi Energy Bhd.
Following the retraction of the Section 137 notice, Scomi Energy said “there is no change in the substantial shareholder of the company.”
“The 423.96 million shares remain held by Malaysian Trustees Bhd on trust for SCOMI GROUP BHD
, ” it said today.
On Monday, Gelombang Global had filed a notice to announce that it had acquired 423.96 million shares in Scomi Energy on Feb 14.
