Insas disposes of 13.5 million shares in Inari Amertron

KUALA LUMPUR (July 3): Insas Bhd, which is controlled by Datuk Seri Thong Kok Khee, has disposed of 13.5 million shares in Inari Amertron Bhd.

The shares were sold through several transactions, including via Insas’ wholly-owned unit Insas Technology Bhd, at prices ranging from RM1.68 to RM1.81 per share between June 30 and today, two separate filings showed.

Following the share disposal, Insas’ equity interest in Inari stands at 596.85 million shares or 18.37%. This has effectively slashed Thong’s indirect interest in Inari to 600.57 million shares or 18.48%.

Thong, who also serves as the non-executive director of Inari, owns a direct stake of 0.04% or 1.29 million shares in the company.

Inari’s share price closed unchanged at RM1.78 with 27.51 million units done. Its market capitalisation stood at RM5.78 billion.

Insas, meanwhile, rose 2.5 sen or 3.85% to 67.5 sen with 1.92 million shares changing hands. This valued the company at RM468.01 million.
