KUALA LUMPUR (July 14): Datuk Azrene Abdullah has ceased to be Enra Group Bhd's substantial shareholder as she is no longer deemed to have an indirect interest of 40.72 million shares, or a stake of 30.18%, held by her former spouse, Tan Sri Kamaluddin Abdullah.

Kamaluddin is the son of former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group cited "dissolution of marriage" as the reason Azrene is no longer a substantial shareholder.

Of her previous indirect interest of 40.72 million shares, 15.36 million shares were held through Kamaluddin's direct interest in Enra.

The remaining 25.36 million shares were held through three companies in which she and Kamaluddin were entitled to exercise not less than 20% of the voting shares pursuant to Section 8 (4) of the Companies Act 2016.

The three companies are Trillion Icon Sdn Bhd, Paling Terbilang Sdn Bhd and Intelek Kuasa Sdn Bhd.

Enra's shares price closed half a sen or 0.72% lower at 68.5 sen, bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM92.42 million. The stock saw some 68,000 shares traded.
