PETALING JAYA: Atrium Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) saw its net income more than doubled to RM5.1mil for the second quarter ended June 30,2020, from RM2.1mil in the corresponding quarter last year. This was due mainly to higher gross revenue and interest income.
Atrium REIT announced a second interim dividend of two sen per unit.
During the quarter in review, Atrium REIT’s revenue rose 67.9% to RM8.3mil from RM4.9mil in the previous corresponding quarter, while earnings per unit rose to 2.18 sen from 1.45 sen previously.
